Newsletter Sales Specialist

We are looking for a highly motivated and results-oriented Newsletter Sales Specialist to join our team. As a Newsletter Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue through the promotion and sale of our newsletter subscriptions. You will identify target audiences, develop sales strategies, and execute campaigns to attract new subscribers. The ideal candidate has a strong sales background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for driving customer engagement.

Sales Support: Provide administrative support to the sales team, including sales representatives, sales managers, and executives. Assist with day-to-day activities such as preparing sales reports, updating customer records, managing calendars, and scheduling appointments or meetings.

Order Processing: Receive and process customer orders accurately and in a timely manner. Coordinate with internal departments, such as inventory, logistics, and finance, to ensure the timely delivery of products or services to customers.

Customer Service: Serve as a point of contact for customer inquiries, order status updates, and general assistance. Address customer concerns or issues promptly and professionally, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.

Database Management: Maintain and update customer databases and sales-related information. Enter and manage customer data, sales leads, and contacts in the CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system.

Sales Reporting: Prepare and analyze sales reports, performance metrics, and sales forecasts. Summarize data, identify trends, and provide insights to the sales team and management for informed decision-making.

Sales Collateral and Documentation: Assist in the creation and maintenance of sales collateral, presentations, and proposals. Ensure that sales materials are up to date, accurate, and aligned with the company’s brand and messaging.

Sales Team Coordination: Coordinate internal communications and facilitate collaboration between the sales team and other departments. Assist with sales meetings, training sessions, and sales events, as needed.

Administrative Tasks: Perform general administrative duties, including managing correspondence, processing expenses, coordinating travel arrangements, and organizing sales-related documents or files.

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve sales processes and workflows. Collaborate with the sales team and management to implement efficiency-enhancing initiatives, streamline procedures, and enhance overall sales productivity.

Compliance and Documentation: Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and legal requirements in sales-related activities. Maintain accurate records, contracts, and documentation related to sales transactions and customer interactions.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
  • Proven experience in sales administration, sales support, or a related role
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient in using CRM software and MS Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to handle customer inquiries or complaints professionally
  • Ability to work collaboratively and maintain positive working relationships with internal teams
  • Problem-solving and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of sales processes and understanding of sales metrics and reporting.
